RADAR TRIPPING

‘_ImEdge’ is an audio-visual work exploring various landform’s conditions of uncertainty. This work focuses on the outlines of objects and transformations between each still through edge detection technique. Outputs of visuals are similar with engraving works, and full of textures being made of endless pixel and lines.

When living as a freelancer, a big part of the work consists of making deadlines. Stressful situations bring near maddening state of mind. The film captures the atmosphere revolving around these distorted perceptions of space and time.

Desire on the Surface of the Skin is an abstract visual poem exploring desire and touch. The images focus on the viscosity of ink staining paper, flowing and troubling the clarity of water. The film compares paper to the surface of skin and studies the textural experience of touch.

Modern Chinese characters are evolved from hieroglyphics, which are abstract records of reality. We decided to explore this concept with the traditional Chinese Pictograph“夢”(dream) and exert our imagination based on each figure.

This work of art the result of a process of transmission between sound and images to purpose a characteristic artistic quality. The two media are built together, one is determined by the other so we can step from one to the other through different transcoding.

An experiment for applying a hybrid audio-video technique of abstract moving images.

Depth is hijacked and used as an imaginal space, shared by artist and viewer. Cell animation reveals cross-sections of non-existent, cloud-like forms moving through the screen, as audio tracks the path of their movement.
